Demolition man injured on job
EAST LIVERPOOL -A member of a construction crew working on demolition of a house on Avondale Street was injured Tuesday. Details were not available Tuesday night, but police were notified in the early afternoon that a worker fell through the roof while working on the demolition project.

Driver of crane lorry that killed little girl is jailed
A DRIVER who caused the death of a six-year-old girl after part of a crane on his lorry struck her on the head has been jailed for 20 months. Freya Aldred was being pushed along Massetts Road, Horley, on her mother's bike when she was knocked unconscious. She died two weeks later in hospital.

SAN DIMAS - A man died Sunday when the bicycle he was riding plunged over a 250-foot cliff and landed on San Dimas Dam, a fire official said. man's friend called authorities after witnessing the accident, says Los Angeles County fire Capt. Mark Savage.
